Aeration and Overseeding
Aeration relieves soil compaction that occurs naturally or from repeat foot traffic. Aeration pulls plugs from the soil alleviating compaction allowing oxygen, water, and nutrients to get to soil's roots.
Overseeding occurs directly after aeration and allows seeds to germinate deep within the soil, where all the newly placed nutrients lie. Aeration and overseeding are often overlooked, but they are the first and most important step in the lawn care process. A thick, weed-free lawn starts here!
